IB PYP Unit Planner: Your programme of inquiry, planned one unit at a time.

PYP Unit Planner plans each unit of your school's own programme of inquiry, from suggested learning goals to a week-by-week outline and an evidence checklist. It produces the unit document in the IB planner's order, ready to print and to co-plan with your team.

Start from the units your school already teaches, or the planner you already use. Goals, a week outline and the evidence to collect come together in one shared unit, with the full planner document beside it.

What you get

PYP Unit Planner, in practice.

01

Starts from your POI.

Upload your programme of inquiry and check every row in a preview before anything is saved, then pick the unit to plan.

02

Goals, then the weeks.

Suggested learning goals you can keep, edit or replace, then a week-by-week outline built from the goals you settled on. Plan this week turns any week into its day pages.

03

Evidence you plan for.

An evidence checklist sits on the unit home, and evidence packs link back to the unit and its goals so nothing drifts out of step.

04

The planner document, ready to print.

The unit document follows the IB planner's section order and prints on A4, with a planning log and sharing by email so your team can co-plan.

Questions, answered

The details, before you ask.

Do I need a programme of inquiry file?
Uploading one is the quickest start, and the preview shows any problems in a row before you save. You can also list your school's existing units and plan from those.
Can colleagues plan with me?
Yes. Share a unit by email. One person edits at a time while others read, and the planning log records what changed.
Does it use marks or scores?
No. PYP planning here carries no marks, scores or numbered levels anywhere.
